1. I don’t know why it’s named after Piet Mondriaan. It has some pretty excellent work on it. It’s mostly better, I would say, than VVORK, which for some reason, is the yardstick for contemporary art blogging.

this year they did live daily TV broadcasts from Frieze in October.  They also seem to have parties and random events.  They seem to be trending and some of their stuff is interesting. If you watch their videos you will have some idea…but then when you watch this video of them speaking about their work

     http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xzJZAlQvxQ

it is incredibly awkward and terrible to watch for more than 2 minutes… 1.47 - I think they might talk about great relevant things but I can’t get past 1.47

it made me think about installing a video booth for the show (installation and strike included).  Like a photobooth, just made from a shower curtain or something where the camera would just be left on for anyone to talk or rant or say hello or just sit there.  By themselves or with others. And because only a very few people in the world can talk about art without it becoming embarrassing or very funny… make cards that people can take that ask them a question, if they don’t know what to talk about or don’t want to talk…a question like why did you come here? or what has made you jealous tonight?

and then, take the video, mash it with random video of the show and pre- and post- show footage, and edit it into a kind of video “catalogue”.

    according to Makro

“Peche Royale - the Taste of it is the Thrill of it. Pêche Royale is a sophisticated, trendy “in drink” for stylish people…It is an alcoholic sparkling wine with a peach flavour. It is conveniently packaged in a 750ml bottle with a resealable cap.”
